Historiques 222
Price
46 000 €

Unveiled in 2025, this Historiques 222 marks the return in steel of one of Vacheron Constantin's most emblematic models. The original 222 was born in 1977, designed by Jörg Hysek to celebrate the Maison's 222nd anniversary. This new version faithfully takes up its lines: a 37 mm tonneau case, integrated bracelet, fluted bezel and small Maltese cross positioned at 5 o'clock.

The matte blue dial is deliberately sober, with baton indexes, a date at 3 o'clock and white gold hands. At just 7.95 mm thick, the watch retains the slim, elegant proportions that made the original a success. It is driven by the Vacheron Constantin 2455/2 automatic calibre, visible through the sapphire caseback, offering approximately 40 hours of power reserve and certified with the Hallmark of Geneva. One of the most accomplished modern re-editions of recent years, true to the spirit of the 1977 222.
